OSHUNMARE

Yoruba Rainbow Spirit 🌈

Also known as Osumare

The Rainbow Serpent

Did you know that whenever you see a rainbow, it’s actually a multicolored snake spirit stretching strangely across the sky? Well, it is. We hope that alters your whole perspective on the world.

Oshunmare is one of the Orishas. He can reach so far across the sky that he managed to reach Brazil and elsewhere to become the colorful Vodou fertility spirit Aida-Wedo.
