LEGBA (2)

Haitian Light God

The Ruler of Light

One of the old Fon originals from Africa (see Legba).

In Haitian mode he is a jaunty old man with a pipe, a stick and a sunshade.

When he retires at night he hands over to the far less friendly Maître Carrefour.
