WAT PHO

Thai legendary place

Also known as Wat Po, วัดโพธิ์

Temple of the Reclining Buddha

This is Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple complex.

It contains 152 marble bas relief panels appertaining to the Ramakien Epic. They seem to have run out of space before the story ends.

There are also some chapel doors with mixed media illustrations composed from mother of pearl, paper and lacquer.
