MAREREWANA
Arawak legendary mortal
An Arawak Noah figure
Warned by Aiomun Kondi of the impending Flood which was about to be unleashed to destroy mankind, Marerewana built himself an enormous boat.
The neighbors mocked, but he had the last laugh when he and his wife were saved. Unlike Noah, he had the foresight to anchor his canoe to a nearby tree, he didn’t even have to walk home when the waters finally subsided.
