SVENTOVIT

Rugian Abundance God

Also known as Svandovit, Svantetit, Svantovit, Svetovid

Picture of the Slavic Abundance God Sventovit from our Slavic mythology image library. Illustration by Chas Saunders.

Godfather of Fruitfulness and Fertility

He has four necks and four faces. Possibly even four bodies. His high priests are commanded to hold their breath when cleaning his temple, but that’s hardly surprising as he keeps his horse there.

His statues have drinking horns (replenishable) and have four faces facing North, East, South and West.
