The Gods of Eastern Europe and Russia...

ROD

Slavic God

A rustic vegetation deity who tended to plod?

He may have been a Supreme God of Everything – or possibly a Rustic God of Growth. Our roving researchers in Russia have so far not reported back.

Perhaps he was superseded by Perun with his more extensive and labor-saving methods.

But we suspect Rod still has a smallholding somewhere extremely remote where he has a couple of goats and is trying to grow Organic Turnips of Immortality without much hope of success.
