Unhelpful Beaver Monster

Not an actual God as such but a monstrous giant beaver who refused any access to the Primeval Lake.

The only way into the lake was head-first and no coming out again. But Coyote put a stop to that and Wishpoosh was pooshed out. After that it was a simple matter to create humans from his body.
