POIA

Blackfoot Hero God

Also known as Scarface

The Sundance Kid with an unsightly sunspot

He was born with an unsightly birthmark on his face. The son of the Morning Star and a mortal woman who died, he wanted to trace the family tree. He learnt that his grandfather was the Sun and set off on a visit.

Walking to heaven, he followed the path made by the sun’s setting reflection on the sea. But all was not well in heaven, and he had to rescue his pappy the Morning Star from the Seven Birds of Darkness.

His grandpappy was so pleased that he removed the birthmark and taught Poia the Sacred Sun Dance which he took back to Earth with him.
