MUMMU

Babylonian Water God

Servant of Apsu, the Goddess of Sweet Water

Came into conflict with the other Gods by refusing to share her private swimming pool. Apsu got sent to sleep in the deep, but poor old Mummu was tethered poolside by a string through his nose, and has kept mum ever since, keeping the pool spotless.
