ETHLINN

Irish legendary mortal

Also known as Eithlinn, Eithne, Ethliu, Ethniu

Irish Rapunzel Without the Hair

Ethlinn sounds like a kind of gasoline, but she’s really the daughter of the demon Balor.

Fearful of bedroom naughtiness and subsequent pregnancy, her paranoid dad imprisoned his little darling in a crystal tower. But she still managed to get pregnant after Cían sneaked his way inside disguised as a horrid old crone.

The resulting baby grew up to become the demon-slaying Lugh.
