SUMITRÂ

Hindu Childbirth legendary mortal

Miraculous birth via holy spirit

She was the wife of King Dasharatha. She desperately wanted sons and prayed to Vishnu, who granted her desire.

He generously supplied a large noggin of Soma. As soon as she drank this miraculous mixture she fell preganant. Twins duly arrived, Lakshmana and Shatrughna, who were both quarter-godly.

Disclaimer: drinking during pregnancy is not recommended and will not turn your baby into a God.
