PUSHAN

Hindu Animal God

Toothless god of some stars

Poor old Pushan, benign, plump, benevolent, in charge of nourishment and welfare of cattle, and popular at banquets. He didn’t deserve to be in the way at Daksha’s banquet when uninvited Shiva stormed in and went ape.

Poor old Pushan got all his teeth kicked out and they are now stars in the Milky Way. He can now only feed on milk and slops. When your teeth are in stars they can’t be in jars.
