PANDAVAS
Hindu Hero Gods
Hindu Heroes
There are the five sons of Pandu by two wives — Kunti and Mâdrî. But they were not really his sons as each one had a God for a father.
Their names were Arjuna, Bhima, Nakula, Sahadeva and Yudhishthira. For further details of their conflict against the Kauravas we refer you to the Mahabharata, an epic tale written in Sanskrit some 2,000 years ago. It’s only 180,000 lines long — so if you have a spare year or two why not learn Sanskrit and have a go? We would then be more than happy to pass on any enquiries. Or you could simply watch the film.
