Terrifying lion hunter of demons

This is Vishnu in man-lion mode. There is a story of him appearing as this Avatar to defeat the demon Hiranyakashipu who had been upgraded to total invulnerability.

Apparently this complete impregnability did not provide enough in the way of indestructibility, as Narasimha’s claws shredded him to bits.
