The colorful deities and demons of India...

KUMBHAKARNA

Hindu Demon

Known as 'Pot Ears' or should it be Pot Belly as he was one greedy guzzling demon

He was also very dozy. Given a chance of eternal life he became tongue tied (with a little help from Brahma) and asked for eternal sleep. Only hunger woke him up. 5,000 women, 6,000 cows and 2,000 jars of wine was just brunch to him.

Unfortunately he was one of Ravana’s brothers, and became involved in the conflict with Rama where he got the chop at the hands of Sugrîva. Rest in pieces.
