BUDHA

Hindu Mercury God

An astral God representing Mercury

Not, as you might think, a crafty Buddha impersonator. He is the product of a brief liaison between Tara, Goddess of the planet Jupiter, and Chandra, the Moon God.

This affair caused a short scandal across the solar system but Tara’s husband Brihaspati took the matter very well and brought Budha up as his own. However, to keep the boy safe from all those wagging tongues in the sticks of the outer solar system, they sent him to live right at the heart of things near the Sun.
