ERECHTHEUS

Greek Ruler God

Also known as Erichtheus

A King of Athens

He was the best buddy of formidable sea deity Poseidon.

He is often confused with his grandfather Erichthonius by the ancients due to the Athenians’ extremely poor filing system. Even more confusingly, he seems to have named his son after his grandfather. These kinds of genealogical shenanigans cause havoc with our Holy Database.
