MAFDET

Egyptian Protection Goddess

Also known as Maftet

Mongoose Goddess of Protection

Particularly helps against snakes and other venomous critters.

We assume her form is that of the African mongoose or ichneuman, although she could be a civet or an ocelot according to some naturalists. As nothing zaps snakes like a mongoose, we feel this would be the best beast on offer.

Mafdet also does a shift of meting out punishment to wrongdoers in the afterlife.
