KNEPH

Egyptian River God

Also known as Cneph

Mysterious ram-headed Nile God

This Nile God leaves one feeling a bit numb because just as you have managed to spell his name right you find he may really be Khnum or one of seven thousand variants.

Whatever, he has a ram’s head and messes about with the waters of the Nile. Could he be a God of Sheep Dips?

He may also be the father, son or second cousin of Ptah, or even Ptah himself. No-one seems to know, least of all us. Help!
