St. TERESA OF LOS ANDES

Christian Saint

Also known as Juana Fernández Solar, Teresa De Jesús De Los Andes, Teresa Of The Andes

Patron Saint of Spain, also Headaches and Migraines

Chilean Carmelite nun.

She had a very short span — joining the dilapidated Los Andes Carmel Convent in 1919 she was just in time to take her final vows before typhus took her from this world.

Incidentally, we are beginning to wonder why all Carmelite nuns seem to be named Teresa. Suggestions on a postcard please.
