St. SISINNIUS

Christian Saint

Also known as Sisinio

Mountain Preacher

He was sent into the Alps to preach the Gospel along with two brothers. Here he hit upon the novel idea of using an Alpine horn to call the local folk forth to hear the word of God.

This did not go down well. Pagans came and beat him to death with his own horn and then killed his two brothers.
