St. SATURNINUS OF TOULOUSE

Christian Saint

Also known as Saturnin Of Toulouse

Martyr and Bishop of Toulouse

He upset Pagan priests so much that they dragged him into their temple and tied his feet to the tail of a bull.

That might not sound too bad, but the bull was waiting to be sacrificed and was consequently very jittery. The Pagan priests then led it outside and launched it off on a downhill course — with our Saint still very much attached.

Later some devout women gathered up his scattered remains to be consecrated.
