St. REGULUS

Christian Saint

Also known as Rule

Scottish Abbot

He is best known for transporting the mortal remains of St. Andrew from Greece to Scotland. There he founded the town of St Andrews, which subsequently became famous for its golf course.

We don’t know if there is a Saintly connection to golf. Did St Regulus carry the relics of St. Andrew around in a golf caddy?
