St. RAYMOND OF PENAFORT
Christian Saint
Patron Saint of Canonists and Completists
Ex-lawyer from Catalonia and Dominican Friar.
He wrote a book for confessors and became personal assistant to Pope Gregory IX given the task of organizing and analyzing all the papal and conciliar decrees from 1150.
There are five volumes of decretals, and he added his right to retire at the age of 65.
With, we can only speculate, a very good pension.
