St. NINIAN

Christian Saint

He boosted Christianity in Scotland

If a humble cave and a chapel on a Scottish island does not seem very dramatic, he had traveled to Rome and been ordained as a Bishop by the Pope himself.

He also did very well on the miracle front. The remains of his chapel plus the cave can still be visited on the isle of Whithorn.
