Bishop of Munster who started as a Friesland missionary

Driven out by a Saxon invasion, he returned later to construct the monastery he was to be in charge of.

A stickler for routine, no-one was allowed to interrupt his prayers. Woe betide anyone who attempted to poke the fire if the room was freezing, or let out a sneeze.
