St. HERMENGILD

Christian Saint

Son of Levingold the Goth who was King of Spain at the time

All was well until our Saint married Ingondes, a Catholic zealot. Naturally he was converted. And naturally his father was livid.

After disrupting his holy career at every occasion to no avail, his dad terminated it by the simple process of sending troops to chop off his head. Except that now his son is a Saint.
