St. HENRY II

Christian Saint

Also known as Henry Of Bavaria, Henry The Lame, Henry The Pious

Emperor with a dodgy leg

He was known as ‘The Pious’ or ‘The Lame’ after a sinew affliction in his thigh. Mostly engaged in praying between wars. With his leg problem, kneeling was probably the most comfortable position.
