St. GOVAN

Christian Saint

Has his own chapel and Holy Well

Beneath the rugged cliffs of his own domain, Govan’s Head, there are fifty stone steps down to the shore, but possibly more on the way back up.

The chapel is tiny: 12 feet by 20 feet. The well is good for most things. If you mix the water with clay you can make a wonderful poultice. Try it sometime.
