St. GERARD SAGREDO

Christian Saint

Also known as Gerard Of Csanád

Diverted Benedictine Bishop and Martyr

He planned a visit to the Holy Land but never got there. The King of Hungary nabbed him en-route and made him bishop of Csanad.

When the king died, power struggles erupted and all hell broke loose.

Our Saint was nabbed and stabbed with a lance by an anti-Christian faction whilst returning from mass, and his body thrown into the Danube.
