St. FRUMENTIUS

Christian Saint

Bishop of Ethiopia

He was sent on an educational trip, the ship was captured, the crew massacred and our saint became a slave of the king.

When His Majesty died, the Queen gave Frumentius and another slave a free hand to help with the administration until her son was old enough to rule.

So Christianity had a very good boost and Ethiopia gained a bishop.
