St. CATHERINE LABOURE

Christian Saint

Award-winning Daughter of Charity

She was presented with a miraculous medal specially cast to commemorate her outstanding visions of Jesus and St. Mary.

She kept very quiet about them, but St. Mary told her she was to have a medal, and so it was. She never did any interviews despite a million copies of the medal being made and probably sold.

She carried on nursing old men in a hospice in complete anonymity.
