St. ANNE

Christian Saint

Also known as Anna

Patron Saint of Mothers and the Blessed Holy Grandma of Jesus

She is the mother of the Blessed Virgin St. Mary, thus making her Jesus’s grandmother. Sadly she doen’t get quite the same limelight as her Holy Daughter.

Notwithstanding, she is the patron saint of Mothers, Women in Labor, Childless Women and Housewives. And also, for some reason that escapes us, Cabinet Makers

The wife of St. Joachim, there is absolutely no evidence that she or her husband ever existed. But Jesus must have come from somewhere.
