TARA (2)

Buddhist Goddess

The Mother of Liberation

She has some very colorful aspects. In stormy weather she turns blue, red or yellow and it’s green and white for calm.

She is known to rescue sailors with her flotilla of sea nymphs. She’s often depicted sitting on a lion, rather than the sea lion you might expect.
