KUNAPIPI

Australian Aboriginal Unknown Goddess

Also known as Gunapipi

Horrible Ogre or Lovely Mother Goddess?

Well, on the one hand she was an Ogre Goddess fond of killing and eating humans. That is until Bunjil the Eaglehawk cut her body open and released all the victims.

On the other hand of course, this could all be a vicious slander. Alternative sources tell us she’s a Mother Goddess and patron deity of many heroes.

Somebody must be fibbing. But who? And why? Further info gratefully received by your bewildered Godcheckers.
