BUNJIL

Wurundjeri Creator God

The Eaglehawk Creator God of dodgy building

He had two wives, and a son who was a rainbow called Binbeal.

Busy with construction work and landscaping, he asked Bellin-Bellin, a Crow Deity, for some wind, but the Crow opened his wind bag to such an extent he released a whirlwind which destroyed most of the trees and lifted Bunjil and Co into the skyworld.

We have since learnt that one of the four props that hold up the sky rotted away some time ago, and a portion of the sky fell in. Efforts to sue for faulty construction are still pending.
