NYOKON

Nyokon Spider God 🕷️

Also known as Nyokonan

Father of Spider Children

You think you’ve got problems? He had a wayward son who was a spider. Just how wayward was shown when number one son became number one mother’s lover.

So Nyokon expelled him from Heaven. Strangely, on Earth the spider — named Nyiko — become some sort of tribal trickster hero, whilst poor old Nyokon hardly gets a mention.

This may be because he has the same name as the Nyokon people he belongs to. Coincidence? Mistaken identity? Or maybe this is one of Nyiko’s tangled webs of confusion.
