DENG

Dinka Creator God

Disgruntled Creator God

You do everything you can for these humans. Create them. Show them how to survive. Provide for all their needs... and then some silly old woman pounds her corn so hard that her pole rebounds, flies up into the sky and puts a dent in Heaven.

Grrr, says Deng, no-one prangs my Holy Abode. If that’s the way they want it, they can have a few cartloads of hardship and poverty.

So punishment rained down, disaster and woe fell upon the human race, and all because of a little dent. Disgruntled Deng turned his back on humanity and shows no sign of forgiving us. Just as well his mother Buk is more easy-going.
