ATAOKOLOINONA

Malagasy Unknown God

Have you seen this missing Godlet?

The name, very appropriately, means ‘what a strange thing’. He was sent to Earth by his father, the Creator God Ndriananahary, to check up on the new world. The planet has only just been formed from hot mud and daddy wanted to see if it was ready to support life.

But the earth was so dry and baking hot that Ataokoloinona couldn’t cope. The poor Godlet dug himself a deep hole to escape from the heat and disappeared without trace.

His anxious father sent rain to cool and water the Earth. Still no sign. Not surprising really as rain just made the mud squidgier.

After countless ages, Ndriananahary thought he should send down a search party. So he plopped some humans to search for his missing son. By now the Earth was cooler and more habitable, so they decided to stay. But so far there is still no sign of the missing God. Please keep your eyes open.
