VARPULIS

Slavic Wind God

Also known as Erishvorsh, Erisvorsh, Erivorsh, Warpulis

A somewhat obscure Wind God

He is an attendant upon Perun and runs alongside his chariot. He appears to need the exercise as he is always puffing and panting to keep up. His gasping breath causes the rumbling that accompanies storms.

In certain places he is known as ERISHVORSH.
